Join us Saturday, December 12, 9 a.m. to noon, as we create a mini native habitat at the corner of Corrine Drive and Bennett Road.
We’re looking for volunteers to help plant native trees, shrubs and perennials, which will provide food and shelter for birds and pollinators. Local landscape architect Carla Shuman is working with City of Orlando’s Jan Rahill and APGD’s Executive Director Jennifer Marvel to come up with a plant palette that will not only mark the entrance to the community, but welcome native species, too. It’s one more step in creating a community wildlife habitat in Orlando’s hippest hood, the Audubon Park Garden District.
So mark your calendars and we hope to see you then.
