Digital Media Interns Wanted

The Audubon Park Garden District is a sustainable community development nonprofit, one of nine Orlando Main Street programs and a nationally accredited subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Our audience is progressive, well educated, and unique. APGD is looking for someone who shares the same vision and is innovative on blog topics and creative marketing tools.

APGD is in search of a Digital Media Intern who will blog and also manage Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr.

Requirements

Must have previous experience using WordPress and social media management.
Excellent organizational, written, and communications skills are a must.
Creativity and passion for economic, environmental and local food news.
This is an unpaid internship. School credit is available if needed.

Responsibilities

Our Digital Media intern will help with all promotional efforts for APGD. You will be working directly under the Executive Director in a fast paced and rewarding environment.
Maintaining key relationships with our online community.
Writing compelling editorial copy for all site platforms.
Brainstorming ideas for social media calendars and assisting in the production of creative content.
Participating in internal brainstorms to conceptualize upcoming content on site, blog and social media platforms.

We need interns who can commit 2 – 4 days a week in our administrative office. Interns are needed starting in August 2015. This can also be a VIRTUAL position for the right candidate.
