8th Annual Zombietoberfest


Cult Classic movie Wild Zero will be showing at Redlight Redlight.

Zombietoberfest is the killer event to kick off Central Florida’s haunted Halloween season. Join this family friendly festival upon it’s 8th annual return Saturday, October 1, 2016! District wide, along Corrine Drive in Orlando, Florida.

Schedule of Events


2 pm – 5 pm | Scavenger Hunt and Scavenger Sip and Stroll.

Join the fun Saturday October 1, 2016, 2 – 5 pm, for the annual APGD Scavenger Hunt. Follow the clues throughout the district and solve the perplexing problem of our annual zombie infestation. 

Tickets just $10 per person and includes a free t shirt (adult sizes only), children 12 and under free. (Zombie swag for all children who register in advance.) Upgrade to the Scavenger Sip and Stroll and enjoy beer and wine at each stop. Advance tickets for the Scavenger Sip and Stroll just $20 per person (includes hunt, free t shirt, and beer and wine samples at each stop). Advance tickets for APGD members just $15, which includes the hunt, t shirt and beer and wine.

5 – 9 | Kid-Zone for the Little Zombies at Emmanuel Episcopal Church.

Bring the kids out for dinner; games and crafts; a showing of the movie Minions; experienced volunteers led by Father David. FREE. (1603 East Winter Park Drive Orando, Florida 32803).


 5 – 10 | Food trucks and the Undead Bazaar. West Corrine Plaza.

Featuring Zombietoberfest food specials, amazing vendors of the season, psychic readings, face painting by TV’s Shannon Holt Facepainting and appearances by the Orlando Psycho City Roller Derby Girls. Food trucks include Currywurst, La Empanada, Korean BBQ Taco Box, Kellys Homemade ice Cream and The Crepe Company.

Skin Wars’ Shannon Holt Facepainting will also have a booth this year for your facepainting fun, in addition to the Orlando Psycho City Roller Derby Girls!

5 – 2 am | Zombie Movies at Redlight Redlight.

Enjoy Japanese cult zombie classic, Wild Zero (with sound), and various other zombie movies without sound at Redlight Redlight throughout the evening. $2 cans of Bavik and BNektar Zombie Killer will be on available, too, while The Wandering Wonton will be set up for your noshing needs.

6:30 – 7:30 | Scary Stories at Stardust.

Drag your carcass over to Stardust to hear some spine-tingling tales by a few of central Florida’s sickest and most demented authors. Orlando’s own loathsome crypt hag, Teege Braune, will be your host for the evening. Unhallowed sounds will be provided by DJ Hugh Manfly while barkeep Lily brews up concoctions strong enough to raise the dead. Those lucky enough to survive the literary atrocities can join us in a toast of Death in the Afternoon following the reading.

Drag yourself to the front of Blue Bird Bake Shop (3122 Corrine Drive Orlando) for our totally free zombie crawl. Your conductor will meet you there.

8:00 | Zombie Costume Contest at East End Market Courtyard.

Which zombies or zombie hunters will take the prize? Our illustrious expert judges will look over each and every contestant and select a winner. Sure the prizes are lame, but it’s totally FREE to enter!
