Saturday December 12, from 9 a.m. to noon the Audubon Park Garden District is installing a pollinator pocket garden at the corner of Corrine Drive and Bennett Road. This is our second project toward becoming both a Certified Wildlife Habitat Community and an EcoDistrict.
The pollinator garden will provide food and shelter to passing native pollinators, including song birds. The best way to save native species is to plant native or Florida friendly plants that offer benefits to the creatures who live here, so landscape architect Carla Shuman picked an impressive selection of plants. Green Up Orlando is donating everything from trees to vines to ground cover.
