The Audubon Park Garden District Main Street program is currently looking for a Volunteer Public Art Coordinator for its Audubon Outdoor Art Gallery. This person will help intake proposed public art submissions from local artists; help identify potential walls and other locations within the APGD area for public art installations; communicate with artists about installations, while also keeping the APGD executive director updated on artist participation; be willing to assess potential installation sites in person; and communicate with area business owners and property owners about the APGD public art program, while also keeping the APGD executive director updated on business and property owner participation.

There will be no fundraising required. The Audubon Park Garden District will handle all fundraising, paperwork, and artist fee disbursements. The APGD will also handle all public communications, including press releases, social media updates and website updates. The APGD will also be responsible for crafting the Audubon Outdoor Art Gallery Reception upon completion of the initial installations.

No experience is required - just a desire to see public art in the APGD area and a willingness to help bridge the gap between artists and local businesses that are willing to participate in the program. An outgoing personality, attention to detail, interest in art and culture, and good written communication skills are a plus.
